The vibrant colour of berries says it all – these little powerhouses are full of nutrients including Vitamin C and antioxidants that are vital for building a strong immune system.


2 cups of fresh, washed fresh or frozen berries (eg strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)

½ banana

Natural, unsweetened yoghurt, to serve

Pop the fruit into a blender with a small amount of water and whizz to a pulp. Add more water to adjust thickness. Mix roughly equal parts berry-banana-mix and yoghurt and serve to bub as a meal or as dessert. Also works well with oats, rice pudding or chia seeds – yumm!
